Calcined kaolin
Release time:2021-08-24   browse:197

Kaolin has high whiteness, soft quality, easy dispersion and suspension in water, good plasticity, high adhesion and excellent electrical insulation properties; It has good acid solubility, low cation exchange capacity, good fire resistance and other physical and chemical properties. Therefore, kaolin has become a necessary mineral raw material for dozens of industries such as papermaking, ceramics, rubber, chemical industry, coating, medicine and national defense. Kaolin is widely used in paper industry. There are two main fields, one is the filler used in papermaking (or papermaking), and the other is the pigment used in the surface coating process.

1、 Calcined kaolin

This product is a white pigment with porous amorphous structure with superior light scattering. It has the characteristics of high whiteness, sub micron particle size and high refractive index. It can partially replace titanium dioxide. Used as masterbatch can improve the aging resistance of agricultural greenhouse film, prolong its service life, improve its thermal insulation and promote the growth of crops; Changing the polarity of the film surface and inhibiting the formation of droplets; And the transformation of ultraviolet or green light harmful to crops into red and orange light that can be used for photosynthesis. It is referred to as the four functions of longevity, high heat preservation, anti fog drop and light conversion. It is a new functional filler for masterbatch.

2、 Calcined kaolin for coatings and inks

This product is a special aluminum silicate functional additive for coatings, so it has strong adsorption and coloring, which significantly improves the weather resistance and wear resistance of coating products, and maintains bright colors for a long time. It has high whiteness, narrow particle size distribution, good optical properties and high hiding power. It can partially replace titanium dioxide. It is a new pigment. It is suitable for paint, emulsion paint, adhesive, electrophoretic paint, internal and external wall coating, fire retardant coating, etc. Applied to water-based ink, it can enhance the surface wear resistance of ink, prevent ink infiltration, prevent the generation of printing water marks, accelerate the drying speed, improve the printing quality of ink, appropriately increase the viscosity and solid content of ink, and play a certain role in preventing sedimentation.

3、 Calcined kaolin for rubber and plastics

This product is processed by special process, and micro pores are generated on the particle surface, so it has great adsorption performance and activity. This product is fine in size, high in whiteness, stable in performance and can partially replace carbon black and silica. It is a better filler and semi reinforcing agent for high voltage insulating rubber plastics, wires and cables, tires, rubber stoppers and other rubber and plastic products, which can improve mechanical strength, anti-aging, electrical insulation and corrosion resistance.
